I believe that art and environment are indelibly linked and that the two must co-evolve. If one is created without the inclusion of the other, authenticity is at stake. When the two are allowed to be organically intertwined, work resonates, has integrity, and is magnetic.
My vision for my work is to use the arts as a medium to connect people from all walks of life, empower communities, and charge individuals to think creatively.
I have been playing violin for 9/10 of my life, teaching for nearly 15 years, and running a community arts project that works in the U.S. and Tanzania for six. I am a constantly evolving collaborator, pulling influence from my environment and the individuals and groups with whom I work.
